Q&A

Q: Why mindfulness?

A: I believe that bringing mindfulness into my work with students and clients helps the process go much smoother. Mindfulness helps us reduce stress, be present, and make the best possible choices for ourselves and our futures.

Q: How do you help people on their career paths?

A: With all of my clients, I begin with holistic assessments and a comprehensive intake interview. My goal is to get to know my client before anything else. Then we work one on one to dig deeper into the person's values, motivations, aptitude, interests, personality and strengths and explore best-fit career paths. Once we have landed on a few possible career paths to explore, I work with my clients to take action towards achieving their goals. This includes exploring best-fit colleges, universities, or training centers, scheduling informational interviews, creating or improving LinkedIn profiles, resumes, and cover letters, coaching on interview skills, college readiness skills, and more.

Q: Do you work with international students?

A: Yes, I work with students from the US and all over the world who are targetting US universities.

Q: Do you help with college essays?

A: Yes, I work one-on-one and in small groups with students to help them develop their essays. We work on choosing strong topics, organizing ideas, word choice, grammar, spelling, and finding their voice so that they write an essay that shines.
